What we collect
How unSlang works
All slang detection happens locally on your device, inside your browser. The extension reads the text on pages you visit to identify slang terms. That text never leaves your browser. It is never sent to unSlang or any third party.
What is stored locally
The extension saves two settings to your browser's local storage: whether you have paused the extension, and whether you have completed onboarding. These settings exist only on your device and are never transmitted anywhere.
Third-party services
unSlang does not use analytics, advertising networks, tracking pixels, or any third-party data services.
Chrome permissions
unSlang requests access to all websites so it can detect slang on any page you visit. It does not read, store, or transmit your browsing history. It does not access passwords, form data, or personal information.
Changes to this policy
